I was watching FOX News* the other day and saw the headline: "New Concern That President Obama Will Be Known As 'The President Who Lost Egypt'" I appreciate the BIG BOLD graphics on FOX for those of us who don't see as well as we used to; I also appreciate the short headlines for those of us who don't like to think too much; and I appreciate the easy-on-the-eyes FOX girls. :p
"New Concern That President Obama Will Be Known As 'The President Who Lost Egypt'" - what does that mean? Who has that concern? Obama's 2012 Reelection Team or Obama himself?
Well, four 'political analysts' explained to Megyn Kelly that Obama is weak and sold out a ally and sided with jihad. To make the point -- if they did, there was a video of rioters in the streets and tanks, and then the images blurred behind a wall of flames, and a picture of Jimmy Carter appeared in the lower-left of the screen, and a picture of an ayatollah loomed overhead in the middle , and a picture of Barak Obama appeared in the lower-right.
FOX is missing the point -- the revolution in Egypt has nothing to do with jihad. Of course, terrorists may try to hijack the movement, but, as of today, Egypt is a defeat for jihad, and Obama did the smart and right thing by quickly identifying America to be on the side of the protesters.
You'd think that FOX would be celebrating this rejection of jihad. But, NO. Could it be that FOX is so obsessive with their hatred for Obama that they are willing to throw under the bus what is in America's interests in the hopes that some mud will stick to Obama? I ask; you decide.
"New Concern That President Obama Will Be Known As 'The President Who Lost Egypt'" -- I criticize Kelly for airing such a non-story. Indeed, the headline should have read: "New Hopes That FOX News Can Label President Obama As 'The President Who Lost Egypt'"
* I still have a crush on Megyn Kelly -- tho I'm beginning to question her journalistic skills.
