Subject: Terror threat level should be red….

What does the Department of Homeland Security do?

A man infected with a particularly tough strain of TB got on an airplane at an American airport and flew. We knew who he was. But he had to turn himself in before the threat was over.

Suppose this had of been an unidentified terrorist? The most non-reassuring comment I heard was from a government official who said that we had no plan to deal with this threat.

Foolishly, I thought the Department of Homeland Security identified terrorist threats and planned on how to deal with them.
